Household Hazardous Waste and Paper Shred-a-thon
Hazardous Waste Leftover household products that contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable or reactive ingredients are considered to be "hazardous waste". These products contain harmful ingredients that require special care when disposed of to help protect human health and the quality of the environment. The City of Miami Beach invites you to join the Ocean Conservancy and VolunteerCleanup.org in safely celebrating the 2020 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC). To ensure the safety of all participants, VolunteerCleanup.org will host a cleanup season from September 19th-November 1st. Participants can participate in two different ways: joining in a small scheduled cleanup or carrying out their own solo clean up.
